North Atlantic Ocean has about 27 different species of cetaceans for observation
Recommendations:
MEETING POINT:
AquaAçores shop at the entrance to the Lajes do Pico marina, 30 minutes before the trip.
- Daily trips departing from Lajes do Pico at 9am and 2pm (each trip lasts about 3 hours)
- Minimum of 4 people to guarantee the trip
- Trips depend on weather conditions
- The experience always depending on the existence of animals in the area
- We provide water suits and life jackets
FOR SWIMMING:
- We rent swimming suits "shorty", mask and tube
- Need to know and have snorkeling experience
- Only 2 people are allowed in the water in the presence of dolphins
- The skipper decides whether all the safety measures for the activity have been met, which also depends on the behavior of the animals.
CANCELATION POLITICS
- Cancellation up to one month before the trip - refund of the amount paid
- Cancellation up to one week before the trip - refund of 10% of the total amount
- Cancellation up to 48 hours before travel - no refund
